The Dayanand Anglo-Vedic Schools System, also familiarly known as the D.A.V. Public Schools System is the single largest non- governmental education society in India. It is based on the ideals of the religious and social reformer, Swami Dayanand Saraswati. The DAV institutions are the gift of Arya Samaj, a progressive movement founded by Swami Dayanand Saraswati in 1875. D.A.V. Public School, Danibigha, Aurangabad is glorious link in the prospering chain of DAV Schools.
The school has been established in the year 2019 and is running progressively up to class VII. At present, the strength of the school is about 1700.
The school consists of well maintained computer Labs as well as suitable playground for the students.
DAV Public School, Danibigha got independent unit of DAV CMC, New Delhi from the academic session 2019-20 starting w.e.f. 01/04/2019. The school is functioning in its own U shape, type G- 3 building constructed on its own land measuring 01 Acre and 07 Decimal. The land is registered in the name of DAV College Managing Committee.
Our school is located in the heart of Aurangabad city. When we had started we were a bud but now we are paving a path. At presently, our school is running classes from Nursery to Std. VII having 1700 students. The school building comprises more than 40 class rooms including other facilities such as Staff room, Library, composite Lab, Computer Lab and wash rooms at each and every floor which makes it a suitable building for running Primary/Middle school. The school has sufficient open space and the same is suitable for assembly and games for students.
Last year in the month of November our school got NOC from state govt. which added another feather in the existing one.
On the occasion of 200th Birth Anniversary of Swami Dayanand Saraswati our school has organized Science, Social Science and Art & Craft Exhibition which was highly appreciated by Hon'ble D.M. (Mr. Saurabh Jorwal) & Hon'ble Ex- Governor, Kerala (M Nikhil Kumar).
We also successfully organized inhouse capacity building programme in EEDP for skill improvement & better teaching performance of teachers.
This year our students also participated in different games & sports at district level and score 04 Gold medal, 02 silver medal & 04 Bronze medal, Not only in co -curricular activities but also in academic part, students showed their talent & most of the students secured more than 75% marks.
School's performance in academics and activities and its calm & disciplined co-curricular atmosphere conducive to the pursuit of learning has become a centre of attraction. The school has been providing opportunities for multifaceted growth of students through interactive curriculum.
